Funds to Assist with Rebuilding Process
SAN ANTONIO, Texas – March 1, 2011 – ProComm, an Associa company, with the help of Associa Cares, recently donated funds to Danny and Valerie Hix who lost their home in a fire.
On February 2, 2011 a fire destroyed the Hix home and they lost all of their possessions. The family is currently gathering materials to turn Mr. Hix’s tool shop into a makeshift apartment until they can find all the necessary funds to start a rebuild.
Thanks to the donation from Associa Cares, the Hix family will be able to begin the rebuilding process sooner than originally planned.
“While we were deeply saddened to hear about this tragedy, but we are pleased that we have the resources available to help the Hix family,” said ProComm President/CEO Barbara Herndon. “They are deserving of any help that can be provided to them. I greatly appreciate that Associa Cares was able to quickly arrange for the relief and provide the donation.”
