OCEAN CITY, Md. – March 28, 2012 – The Resorts Division of Legum & Norman, Inc., an Associa company, recently donated $1,000 to the DelRicco Benefit Fund through Associa Cares.
On December 16, 2011, a devastating car accident in Ocean City, Maryland changed the life of George and Ann Marie DelRicco and their baby daughter, Ava. While stopped at an intersection, Anne Marie and Ava were struck from behind by an out-of-control driver. Since then, Ava has been hospitalized at Johns Hopkins struggling to survive and recover.
Blocks away from this tragic accident site, the Legum & Norman and Amtek employees were gathered to celebrate the holiday season. Once employees heard about the tragic accident, the compassionate staff, led by Bayside at Bethany Lakes Site Manager Nancy Lowe, submitted a request for assistance from Associa Cares, Associa’s nonprofit 501(c)3 organization created to help families and communities in crisis.
“Whether you own a home in a Legum & Norman-managed association or not, we are all a part of this community, and we are fortunate to be able to help another family in their time of need,” said Legum and Norman Resorts Senior Vice President Patti DuBuque. “In 2011, with the help of our community partners and clients, Legum & Norman raised more than $28,000 for Associa Cares.”
